DJ Night Rider

"In the late 70’s early 80’s I used to follow a Sound System called Small Axe from Brixton this is where it all began. Many year’s later my love for music had me visiting various Night Clubs around London listening to some of the top DJ’s on the Black Music Scene. Occasionally friends or family would ask if I could DJ at their various parties, this lead to me building my own Sound System. During Covid 19 (Lockdown) I stumbled on this Zoom platform called BPM this is where I joined DJ Harvey & started to cultivate a night time following on the BPM. I used to play from 2am Sunday morning till 6,7 or 8am in the morning & called my show “The Night Ride,” before long someone on the platform suggested that I change DJ my name from DJ Mikey to Night Rider.
